I ordered a Medium for my 10 year old daughter, a little bit big on the sleeves but it looks very cute and it will last her for a while, she was very happy with her shirt. Very good quality, very nicely cut, the stars seem to be reflective to light which looks very pretty. My daughter was very happy, so a medium shirt on a 10 year old girl would look more like a long shirt like the displayed picture, she can easily just wear it with a pair of tights or leggings, shirt is long enough to cover the butt and go mid towards the thighs and can be worn alone like a t-shirt dress.
